roommates (Reo, Midorima)
[Following this]
Reo is concluding that moving isn't really as much of a hassle as everyone insists it is. As long as you're organized and careful while you're packing and have someone reliable to help you, there's no reason it shouldn't go smoothly.
(Later in life, Reo will realize that only having one bedroom's worth of furniture and possessions also helps. A lot.)
Right now, though, it's all over but the unpacking, and Reo is restraining a sigh as his reliable help leaves after only pausing to rest for a few minutes. He knows by now that Tecchan will never learn how to take care of himself properly, but he still can't resist extracting a promise that Teppei will rest when he gets home, which gets a sheepish agreement that they both know very well is almost a lie.
(Reo never actually says the words I know your knee still bothers you sometimes, but they still hang in the air.)
Once the door is closed, Reo releases that sigh, then goes to the kitchen to retrieve the iced tea he made for them last night. They've both been helping themselves as they've worked, but there's still plenty left.

slight name changes for my own sense of consistency
This means everything Mibuchi and his guest do is observed through a slightly cracked bedroom door, while Shintaro stays politely out of the way. He counts the boxes and listens to their conversations--there are less of both than he expected. Any tension near the end is lost on him but he does hear Mibuchi's sigh after Kiyoshi-kun is gone. He gives it a few moments before coming out, looking over the cartons as he also heads to the kitchen.
"That went very quickly." It's not exactly welcome home but it's a greeting, at least in Shintaro's world.
you do you
"Tecchan is a good worker," he says. "I couldn't have asked for better help."
He hefts up the pitcher.
"Iced tea. Would you like some, Midorima-kun?" This is partially why he made so much; it wouldn't do to leave out his new roommate, after all.
